An original vintage 11½ x 8 ins photograph of the Imperial Cadet Corps drawn up at the Delhi Coronation Durbar of 1903, shortly after the unit’s raising as a Royal and Viceregal Escort. Five of the 23 cadets were ruling Princes [ Jodhpur, Kishengarh, Jaora, Ratlam, & Dholpur ] and the others drawn from similar houses. General Sir Pratap Singh, Maharaja of Idar in in front as the Honorary Commandant, while the Commandant, Major Watson of the Central India horse is viewed to his left. jan29/1
