An excellent example of the 26th ( The Cameronians ) Regt. of Foot officer’s gilt tunic button of 25mm with the backmark JENNENS & Co. LONDON. This is the pattern worn from 1855 until 1881 when they became the 1st Bn. The Cameronians ( Scottish Rifles ). The buton retains virtually the full original gilt finish. jul8/1 SOLD 11th March 2025
