8 uncoloured plates (all of Indian interest), 62pp, 2pp advertisements. Original card covers printed with a tiger hunt from elephant on the front cover and notes about the Prince’s Tour of India on the back cover, some damage at foot of front cover and an old strengthening tape to spine, now coming adrift. An unusual little [pocket almanack designed to exploit the interest in the recent Royal Tour of India by HRH Albert Edward Prince of Wales (later EdwardVII). Very prematurely one portrait of the Prince in military uniform identifies him as The Future Emperor. mar2/1
