5th Mahratta Light Infantry, malacca swagger stick.

The good, thin malacca cane with unmarked silver coloured ball top with a king’s crown version of the 5th Mahratta Light Infantry badge of title on a scroll beneath the strung bugle with numeral 5, overall length 28ins.  The ball is approximately 1¼ in. I have found it almost impossible to photograph the ball properly. It has surface marks commensurate with age and use but is better than it looks in the photograph. apr11/4
