79th Cameron Highlanders. A good example of the pewter button worn for less the first twenty years of Queen Victoria’s reign. The 19mm open backed button has the backmark H. & R. S. HEBBERT & CO LONDON and it is in good condtion, retaining the original iron shank. It has been a little over polished in places but the whole design is still quite clear. feb27/6
