The red straight grain morocco leather foul weather cover belonged originally to Air Marshal Sir John Baldwin who served in the 8th King’s Royal Irish Hussars until transferring to the RFC during WWI and later served as its last Colonel in Chief. my31/1 SOLD 7th March 2025
Provenance: I acquired much of Sir John’s uniform and swords fsome 50 years ago from a member of the family to whom they had been left.
