87pp. Contemporary or slightly later red half morocco with marbled paper covered boards and title in gilt along the spine, all edges gilt, endpapers matching the binding, originally published as a pamphlet and retaining the original printed buff card covers, previous owner’s armorial bookplate to front pastedown, presentation letter dated 1891 (from Edward Monson to Pollock, dated 4 New square Oct. 20 91) tipped in before title page, a generally clean copy in a handsome little binding, the original cover a little soiled and the head of spine with minor loss.
