23 colour plates with tissue guards, 50pp. A de luxe edition bound in pebbled cloth gilt bevelled boards, all edges gilt, very good condition for its age with some marks and edge wear to the boareds, the contents perfectly clean. Thus printing, on fine glazed paper, omits the advertisment pages which are in the standard commercial printing. A neat, comtemporary, ink inscription to the top of the half title To His Highness Maharajah Bhavsingji, K.C.S.I. Wtth the respectful Compliments of the Author 20th Jan. ’05 . The front pastedown has a small ex-libris NILAMBAGH  PALACE, BHAVNAGAR . Several of the illustrations ewlate to people of Bombay.  jul9/1
