A Lieutenant colonel photographed in Guernsey, late Victorian
£35.00
A three quarter length portrait of a seated lieutenant colonel by B. Collonette, Guernsey. A very good cabinet card with clear detail but confusing me as to his unit. The sleeve lace conforms to that of the Royal Engineers but the Victorian buttons have the three cannon of the Royal Artillery and the lace of the cross belt also seems to be Artillery. jan7/3
