An attractive antique engraved armorial matrix, 19 x 16mm, with canted edges. The matrix, probably 19th century, shows a personal momngram in script capitals which could read as either JG or TG. beneath a heraldic crest of a demi lion holding a stylised crown. There is a very tiny chip at the lower left corner edge as viewed from the front. apr6/2
