A cabinet card portrait of an unidentified Indian Prince photographed by Raja Deen Dayal & Sons, Bombay & Secunderabad . The card has been a little trimmed around the edges, doubtless to fit a frame but the image is undamaged. The card notes the appointment to the Empress of India dating it to between 1877 & 1901. The sitter’s rank is indicated by his extensive display of pearls and the very distinctive headdress should help with identification, nov3/5
