Artillery officer with a Military Cross, a very good full length portrait.

Probably taken just after WW1 the full length portrait by The Bower Studio, Durban measures 11¾ x 8½ ins and is printed on thick photographer’s card with bevelled edges. The artillery officer wears service dress with riding boots and jodhpurs and wears ribbons for a Military Cross and first war trio with a mention in despatches. It is signed but the first initial is hard to decypher J. O. Cuthbert. The striking image is in excellent clean condition. jul16/1
