A small sized officer’s quality button, the brass rather polished on the King’s crown. The button was made by J R Gaunt & Son of London. This button dates from 1920 when the regiment, with its origins in 1877, assumed this title. A number of the larger Indian railway companies formed regiments of the Indian Auxiliary Force.
