Cameron Highlander’s concert programme, Bangalore 1912

A single sheet of paper, folded once to 5½ x 4 ins, titled beneath the regimental badge Programme of a “Smoking Concert” held in the Regimental Theatre by the Corporals, 2nd Cameron Highlanders, to members leaving the mess for Home, Bangalore, Saturday 21st September 1912. It is printed by the Regimental Press and opens to reveal 2 parts with the names of the peformers – Montieth, Gray, Michie, Walker, Adamson, Cumberford, Greenway, Shanks, Simpson, Miller, Clarke, Dicker, Fraser, & Macintyre, together with four members of the 7th Hussars – Bancroft, Brigden, Jones, & May. A quaint ephemeral survival, tipped to an old piece of album paper, sound condition although the edges are curled. oct31/3
