Companion of the Most Eminent Order of the Indian Empire. A good example of the miniature of this badge of the second type with the wording IMPERATRICIS AUSPICIIS on the blue enamel around Victoria’s bust. There is a very small area of damage to the blue enamel beneath the letter P. We are inclined to think this is a gold version but have not had it tested. The badge is complete with ribbon and the top bar. sep3/4
