An English 9 inch dessert plate centred with a crest of a lion in a garter with swags of roses all within turquoise / green border. The plate is undamaged although it shows signs of having been washed too often, probably in a dish washing machine. It is from a set of plates which would each have had a different coloured border – a common feature of dessert services in Victorian times. nov15/2
