East Yorkshire Regiment. an officer’s example of the 25mm button worn on the tunic by Volunteer battalions. It has the backmark HOBSON & SONS LEXINGTON ST LONODN W and has just a little underying copper bleeding through the silver plate. Although I used to collect Yorkshire buttons this is the only silver plated version of this button I can recall coming across. mar20/9
