The unmounted 8 x 5½ ins well toned photogaph shows a group of young cadets entitled in contemporary pencil on the verso Drum & Fife Band 1884. There is slight damage and a little loss at the top corners. The central cadet in the cloth helmet wears a very distinctive badge with a central bird displayed. jan21/4
