A very good three quarter length portrait of the young Maharaja Sardar Singh of Jodhpur [1880-1911]. The visible image is 13 x 7½ ins [34 x 18.8 cm]and shows the ruler just after his accession in 1895 wearing typically flamboyant dress, three quarter length as it appeared on a Royal size card by Johnston & Hoffmann, Calcutta, Darjeeling, Simla. nov26/2

Like all the images in this category this is a copy made by our printer in exactly the same size as the original which we sold at some time in the last ten years. It is printed on thin white card leaving a margin around the image. These were made for our own reference purposes and we are now releasing the very few extra copies we had made at the time from an original now in a private or institutional collection.
