A very small [4½ x 2 ins, 115 x 51mm] pencil sketch, with contemporary ink title Our house. Fort Munro. July 1898. The sketch, on thin card, is typical of the sort of item posted home by officers serving in India. Fort Munro [now Fort Monroe] was hill station in mountains near Dera Ghazi Khan whereEuropeans would take up residence in the hot weather. It is now in Pakistan. jan6/1
