An octavo, 9 x 5¾ ins programme of 12 thin card pages in original thicker card printed covers tied with purple ribbon.,Although the King withdrew from Freemasonry on accession he attended this ceremony. H.R.H. The Duke of Connaught and Strathearne was Grand Master and the ceremonies were led by the Pro Grand Master, the Earl of Harewood [married to H.R.H. The Princess Mary. a staple holding half the pges has rotted away leaving the pages undamaged but loose. There are two pencil signatures ro the rear cover, one being Edmund Burke [a grand Master in Bengal] and the other Lancelot Robson. apr23/1
