A good example of the officer’s gilt 25mm button of the The Gloucestershire Regiment. The tunic button has the backmark PITT & Co. 50 ST MARTINS LANE LONDON and retains most of the full original gilt finish. This is the pattern which replaced the 28th & 61st regiments and was worn from 1881 until 1901. oct31/1 SOLD 27th August 2026
