A silver plated 27mm livery button of the Earl of Guilford showing his crest of a dragon’s head beneath an earl’s coronet and with the backmark FIRMIN & SON, 47 WARWICK ST. REGENT ST. LONDON. A good example bbut in need of a clean – something we alwats leave to the buyer. This probably dates from the time of Frederick George North, 8th Earl who succeeded his father in 1885. may14/1
