H.R.H. Albert Edward, Prince of Wales, a cdv of about 1875
£45.00
A bust legth portrait carte de visite, 4 x 2½ ins by Dady Limjee Pandey, View & Portrait Photographer, Bombay . Pandey opened his studio in 1870 and this portrait almost certainly dates from the time of the future Edward VII’s successful visit to India in 1875 which followed the first visit by a member of the British Royal Family by his younger brother the Duke of Edinburgh a few years earlier [see another cdv in this section for a portrait of him]. nov29/4
