H.R.H. Prince Henry, Duke of Gloucester [1900-1974], 4th son of King George V. An amateur photograph, 7¼ x 5¼ ins visible, in an old narrow black frame by G. A. Rose, 23 Pelham Street, London  S.E.. Although his career was necessarily much interrupted by royal duties, the Duke was a serving officer in the 10th Royal Hussars and a very keen sportsman.    aug 31/6
