A very good crested livery button of the Earl of Hardwicke. The 26mm open backed silver plated, open backed button shows the Yorke family crest of a lion’s head erased beneath an earl’s coronet. It is in very good condition and has the backmark REYNOLDS & Co 50 ST MARTINS LANE LONDON. The button is late 19th or very early 20th century. jan1/4
