A very attractive and well finished antique crest of a demi fox with a prominent brush emerging from a crown or coronet. It is cast and has a silvered finish with five fixing spikes to the reverse. Measuring approximately 1¼ x 1½ ins [35 x 35 mm] in size, it was probably made for fastening to leather as part of a harness or coach decoration. may20/2
