HOWE. A large 26mm and a small 16mm livery button of Earl Howe, both silver plated, the large one with a dent and no backmark, the other in much better condition and backmark WARRANTED . These probably date from the time of Colonel Richard William Penn Curzon-Howe, G.C.V.O., C.B., 3rd Earl Howe [1822-1900]. The two crests are a plume of five ostrich feathers for Howe and a popinjay for Curzon. The price is for the two buttons. feb15/1
