Contemporary half leather with marbled paper covered boards, upper hinge split detaching between pages 2 & 3, paper sound and clean with just a few marginal pencil marks noted. Her Majesty’s regiments serving at this time are 15th Lt. Dragoons, 25th, 51st, 84th, & 94th Foot – a particularly small force. A very useful part of the book is the 10 page list of His Highness the Nizam’s Army showing the officers of the very considerable Hyderabad force of five regiments of cavalry, 4 companies of Artillery, and eight regiments of infantry. jun11/1
