Imperial Russia. A 15mm gilt armorial livery button with the French backmark. PERFECTIONNE CT PARIS. This livery button would have been worn by a servant of Prince George Alexandrovich Yurievsky. Being smaller than the other buttons for the prince this example does not include the mantling that the other in this category have around the shield. The prince was the natural son of Czar Alexander II and Princess Catherine Dolgorouky. The present head of the family is a Swiss businessman.   dec12/3
