An exceptionally good photograph of the Cawnpore Memorial Church on an old album leaf titled Memorial church Cawnpore 1881. This is a particularly early photograph of the impressive monument to the fallen at Cawnpore as it was only completed in 1875. It is a full plate image measuring just over 11 x 9 ins. The verso has a similarly sized, very well toned view of the Himalayan Hill Station of Nainital titled The Lake Nynee Tal 1880. aug7/5
