Rt. Rev. John Thomas James [1786=1828] was educated at Rugby and Christ Church Oxford. Ge was made Bishop of Calcutta in 1827, arriving there January 1828 but was taken ill in Jne and died in August on board a ship bound for China.
Augustus Terry Clarke [1808-1886] was a Scottish gentleman farmer at Achareidh in Nairnshire and a noted amateur architect.
