The 7½ x 5½ ins portrait is mounted on a decorative photographer’s card, 12 x 10 ins overall. The group, which seems to be mainly txhe band includes two British officers, one idenfified on the verso in pencil as Captain Sanders, his more junior colleague wearing a CBE and DSO. They are seated behind the drums and all wear service dress, many with medals and holding their instruments. aug20/2
