Northamptonshire Regiment, a very good original cap badge. (Copy)

A good example of the large Northamptonshire Regiment cap badge, 45 x 43mm. This example came in ghe carrying tin of an officer’s home pattern Victorian helmet of the regiment [to be seen in this category on the website] and probably dates from the Edwardian era, although the lack of a crown on this regiment’s cap badge design means that it barely changed from 1881 until it lost its individual identity. oct21/1
