Officers of various regiments relaxing with their dogs.

This somewhat faded photograph, 8 x 6 ins mounted on old card, came with another listed yesterday and it too is probably taken during a course at the School of Musketry at Hythe in Kent. The member of the 96th Foot [2nd Manchester Regt], holding a musket, is the only one whose badge is really clear. Only two of the men in civilian clothes do not have a dog. The uniforms suggest the 1860s/70s. jul29/6
