The small place setting holder is formed of the badge [40 x 30 mm approx.] with the Prince of Wales’s crest in front of crossed lances with a scroll beneath PROBYN’S HORSE . This is the pattern introduced in the early1940s. The regiment transferred to the Pakistan Army on Indepence. The horse shoe shaped base is stamped SILVER and has other rather indistinct marks. sep8/2
