The silver plated 26mm livery button shows the Thellusson family crest of a demi greyhound, collared between two wings and has the backmark DOUGHTY & Co.106 ST MARTINS LANE LONDON. There is a little bleeding of the underlying copper on some of the high points of the design. The family seat, Rendlesham, is near Woodbridge in Suffolk. feb12/3
