Royal Academician, gilt 23mm button , probably Edwardian

A good example of the scarce button worn by Royal Academicians on court dress. It has the script initials and Tudor crown mounted on a plain gilt ground and the backmark J. R. GAUNT & SON LTD LONDON ENGLD. nov16/3
