Royal Warwickshire Regiment, Volunteer offcier’s 25mm button in silver plate

£15.00

A silver plated 25mm button of The Royal Warwickshire Regiment which would have been worn by an officer of a Volunteer Battalion in the last years of Queen Victoria’s reign. It has the same design, with Victorian crown, as that of regular officers although their buttons were gilt. The backmark is HEBBERT & Co. LONDON and there is just a little bleeding of the underlying copper. The button would respond well to careful cleaning. oct27/1
