South Africa Medal 1853 & Crimean War Medal. A good pair of contemporary miniatures

The contemporary pair of miniature medals, comprising the South Africa Medal for campaigns 1833-54 & the Crimean War Medal 1854-56. Although Crimean medals and quite common, the South Africa is rather scarce. The first medal was not issued with any clasps and this Crimea does noy have any either. The supplier seems not to have access to the unusual suspension for the Crimea and has used the standard pattern seen on most medals from the Sutlej onwards, The brooch bar has is stamped NINNES  HYTHE. oct5/1
