The Lincolnshire Regiment, an Edwardian volunteer officer’s button, silver plated 18mm
£5.00
A silver plated 18mm example of the officer’s button of The Lincolnshire Regt. This is the same design as that worn by regular battalions from 1902 although in silver plate rather than gilt. This example has the backmark BEST LONDON MAKE. In 1908 the Volunteer battalions were replaced by Territorial ones and the use of silver plated buttons ended. nov16/5
