A silver plated 18mm example of the Victorian button of The Lincolnshire Regt. This is the same design as that worn by regular battalions from 1881 to 1901 although in silver plate rather than gilt. This example has the backmark FIRMIN & SONS LD. LONDON PT. 2340, It was only worn from the end of the Victorian era.  oct26/6
