Two cartes de visite of the same person wearing a headdress of typical Maratha style, the one in the oval reserve has writing on the verso showing it to be taken in Bombay and the first word being Balasahib [meaning Lord Shiva]. Probably c 1870s. The price is for the two cards. oct10/1
