United Provinces of Agra & Oudh. Six large scale folding maps of Almora District. c.1870s/80s

Parts of Districts of Garhwal & Almora, United Provinces. 6 folding maps on a sale of 1 inch to 1 mile, Survey of India [Calcutta]. comprising sheets 53 0/1 & 5 [Old no. 242 1880, 62 11/1 & 5 [Old no 252] 1878, No. 258 1874, 62 C 4 &5 [Old no 259] 1874 with additions to 1910, No. 260 1877, 62 C/2 & 6 [old no 257] . The maps are monochrome and of various extended sizes but all folding down to uniform 12 x 8 ins [31 x 20 cm] with buff card endpapers and all are dissected & linen backed, generally good condition with one small hole to one map and the occasional split along dissections. I do not have time at the moment to give more detailed information so have priced them cheaply.     sep4/1
