Windsor Court Dress, 23mm Tudor crown. A set of six buttons

A very good set of the Royal Household’s Windsor court dress buttons. The gilt buttons of large size, approx 23mm diameter, has the Garter Star within Garter with motto and Tudor or king’s crown mounted.  The buttons is in excellent  condition and have the backmark FIRMIN & SONS LD LONDON. These buttons are worn only at Windsor. The dress jacket of blue with scarlet facings is worn by members of the Royal Family and some other senior members of the Royal Household wear the button on their uniform. apr16/4
