Worcestershire Regiment, table spoons of the 6th Battalion
£90.00
A group of six table spoons of Old English pattern in silver plate by Walker & Hall, each with the badge of the regiment above a scroll 6th Bn Worcestershire Regiment . Although often now described as serving spoons these would have been used for soup or ragout. The spoons probably date from the Edwardian or early George V period. In 1915 the 6th Battalion (Reserve) was commanded by Lt Col F D W Lea-Smith and the Hon Colonel was the Rt Hon G W, Earl of Coventry. The spoons are priced as a group of six but we are prepared to sell them in pairs at £50 per pair.
