An attractive vintage photograph, 6 x 4 ins /16 x 10 cm, with a very well detailed view of an infantry detachment drawn up with a horse drawn baggage cart, probably around 1920s. The post card sized image has a little edge damage without loss and has the photographer’s stamp on the verso MALABAR PHOTO WORKS CANNANORE & TELLICHERRY .The strung bugle badge suggests they are light infantry and the number of soldiers suggests a double platoon. apr19/1
